Putting in your hour a week for scouting
You will often hear us ask our parent volunteers for “just an hour a week” of their time for scouting. Here’s a picture of our own Gary Meyer giving an “extra” hour at the Maple Sugar festival at Lazarus to help a Cub learn about building a cabin. Have you given your hour to scouting this week?
Troop 365 recognized at 2016 Buckeye District Volunteer Recognition Dinner
This year 3 Scouters from BSA Troop 365 were recognized at the 2016 Buckeye District Volunteer Recognition Dinner — Rob Kemp and Matt Gansl, as a Bridge Builder (a selfless commitment to helping youth be prepared for life through Scouting), and Steve Aspery with the Bronze Award for continuing and exceptional service to Scouting. They are pictured here with their families, a happy time for BSA 365.
Make sure you congratulate these three adults the next time you see them for their commitment to scouting and BSA Troop 365.
