Valley Forge Thank You
Here is a thank you received by a parent that attended Valley Forge:
THANK YOU all again for your hard work and leadership in making the trip to Valley Forge happen! You and your fellow leaders at Troop 365 are doing a wonderful job and are to be commended for your guidance and hard work these past few days. In my line of work, we say that a plan is just a basis for deviation as things rarely go according to plan. Not only did your group have an excellent plan, you all made the almost constant deviations and changes appear easy to handle and they were always met with grace on your part. Superb! My son and I made memories of adventures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives!
Throwback Thursday
Valley Forge Update
Tonight the troop will be leaving for Valley Forge. Our Scoutmaster and Scouters have reviewed the cold weather predictions and any necessary adjustments needed. This is the oldest continuous annual camping event for the Boy Scouts, exceeding 100 years. We are PREPARED and have spent time with the Scouts addressing their preparation & first aid. Each adult attending has been charged with extra vigilance, but this is what we train for and how Scouts learn.
For those attending, meet at church at 5pm and the bus will roll at 5:30!

Spaghetti Dinner – Saturday, February 21st
Reminder: Spaghetti Dinner is Saturday, February 21st 4:30 to 7:30.
This is our 2nd required fundraiser and is very important to the troop. The church and the community both love it and the boys learn great skills such as sales, waiting on customers, food prep, patience, social skills, etc.
Each paying customer receives a single plate of spaghetti with garlic bread, unlimited salad and applesauce and a dessert. We ask that each scout family provide a dessert.
All Scouts are REQUIRED to work a shift and will be assigned that shift, and a position, in a couple weeks. Scouts can see Knoble Prosser for questions on this.
Also, each scout is required to sell tickets (each scout will start with 10). See Jamie Prosser at meetings for tickets. IF a scout does NOT sell all of his tickets, he is to turn them back in to Mrs. Prosser on the day of the Dinner with all remaining ticket money not yet turned in when he arrives for his shift.
We are also in need of a couple of adults for each shift to help in the kitchen (washing dishes with a couple scouts). Please let Jamie Prosser (jameria21@gmail.com) know if you are available to volunteer some of your time.
