BAILEY Charles Allen Bailey, age 89 of Columbus, died peacefully Monday, March 25, 2013. Born September 6, 1923 in Wheeling, WV. Graduate of Barnesville High School, Class of ’41 and The Ohio State University, College of Engineering. Veteran U.S. Navy, WWII having participated in battles at Iwo Jima and Okinawa as a member of the VC83 Air Squadron. Retired from Rockwell International after 35 years of service. Longtime member of Oakland Park UMC. Preceded in death by wife of 63 years Barbara S. Bailey, sisters Helen L. Bailey and Katherine Porter, grandson Brad Ristucci. Survived by loving children, Steve A. (Tammy) Bailey of Worthington and Susan K. (Frank) Ristucci of Sunbury; grandsons, Adam and Thomas Bailey; great-grand-daughter, Brooke Ristucci-Gorsuch; nephews, Chris and Greg Porter. Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at RUTHERFORD-CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington, where Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
