Canoe Trip 2013

Our destination will be the Namekagon River in northwest Wisconsin, a headwater to the St. Croix River. On the way we could take the SS. Badger car ferry across Lake Michigan from Ludington, Michigan. After canoeing 50 miles on the Namekagon, we’ll head to Munising, Michigan (in Michigan’s Upper Pensinsula) and explore the area around Pictured Rocks with some more canoeing or kayaking, hiking and swimming, even climbing some of the 500 foot high sand dunes on the shore of Lake Superior. We’re figuring on about 10 or 11 days, and are planning for sometime during late July.

Interested? Tell Mr. Meyer. Or Mr. Hock. And sign on.
